Heat helps with pain and Midwives will often recommend a heat pack. This pack contains 2 heat patches (you can use one at a time or two at the same time) and a body wrap to hold them in place and they stay warm for up to 12hrs.
The heat patches can be used to reduce pain in labour. Many hospitals do not allow re-heating of wheat bags in the birthing suite due to a fire risk. These heat patches will help when you are labouring at home, during the car ride to your birthing facility and when at the hospital.
